Kabata wanted to reinvent traditional strength training with connected dumbbells capable of tracking workout metrics, delivering haptic feedback, and integrating with a mobile app for AI-driven coaching.

The core challenge was to build a compact, durable, ergonomic product that could process data in real time and maintain reliable wireless communication.

What We Built

We delivered the full electronic and embedded foundation of the product, including the dumbbells and charging dock electrical design, firmware development, communication protocols, sensor and haptic-driver control, and BLE connectivity with the Kabata app.
