Binho - Multi-Protocol USB Host Adapters

Multi-protocol USB host adapters that turn embedded systems testing and debugging into a one-tool workflow.

Binho set out to build the next generation of USB host adapters for embedded systems teams — tools that could replace a rack of single-protocol debuggers with one device. The goal was ambitious: support the full spectrum of protocols embedded engineers rely on daily, including the emerging MIPI I3C standard, without sacrificing the ease of use or cross-platform reliability developers expect.

Binho positions the adapters as an all-in-one solution, reflecting a vision where testing and debugging no longer require juggling multiple tools per protocol.

Impact

The result was a pair of USB host adapters that consolidated a full protocol toolkit into a single, developer-friendly device — now sold to first-class companies worldwide.

Advanced I3C capabilities

Dynamic addressing, In-Band Interrupts, and Hot-Join support for next-gen embedded systems.

Cross-platform tooling

Binho Mission Control desktop app plus Python and C++ SDKs for automation and device management.

Faster development cycles

Reduced code-build-test time for Binho's clients across the embedded systems industry.

This project combined hardware design, embedded firmware, and cross-platform software into a single testing and debugging solution.
